This soundscape accompanied an art installation at Hinterland Art Space (2012) and later at the Arvada Center for the Arts (June 5 - August 31, 2014). The installation was called "Drosscapes" and was created by Katie Caron. It involved: video projection, mylar, foam, acrylic, and flock, with dimensions variable.
I used samples I had created and curated specifically for the installation, and then triggered and manipulated them using delays, pitch shifting, reverb, as well as some other effects. I cannot recall the orchestration sample used, but it is a sample from an old record played through a turntable I modified to pronounce flutter and whirr.
